Dominique: Grief, chemistry, healing, and second chances collide in this emotional, messy, slow-burn second chance romance.
Fifteen years ago, the Match determined Evan and MacKenzie’s futures. It also tore them apart. When fate throws them back into each other’s lives, they’ll have to decide: Was their biggest mistake letting go… or trying again?
Bibliobean Books : What inspired this series?
Dominique : When I was in medical school, there was one couple who didn’t immediately match in the same city. There were tears and scrambling to try to rectify the situation, which they did.
I wondered what would happen if the situation didn’t get fixed, the relationship didn’t survive, and there was a lot of yearning for each other at a distance. So much that it ruined any other relationships they entered.
Bibliobean Books : Give us a fun fact about your writing process.
Dominique : At the beginning of a project, I create a write up about what I want to happen in my stories, but I really write freestyle. I do a lot of self-editing before my editors take a look.

Can you describe your writing vibes in three words?
Dominique: Messy. Sexy. Sarcastic.
Bibliobean Books : As an editor, I can tell you we really appreciate that! What are you currently reading?
Dominique : Romance/ Mystery/ Women’s Fiction
Bibliobean Books : Do you have anything new that you are working on?
Dominique : I am working on Book 2 in the Meet Your Match Series. This story will focus on Evan’s (from Late Match) ex-wife who is looking for her happily-ever-after.
Bibliobean Books : How exciting, since this interview was done a little bit ago Book 2, The Match Game releases March 12th! Do you have anything you’d like to say to your current readers?
Dominique : Read widely. There are some many great stories out there — about familiar characters and unfamiliar ones.
Give some of the unfamiliar characters and stories a chance. You might find that you do have things in common with them or maybe you just might enjoy reading about their adventures.
